Amazon’s Fire Phone is getting another price cut.

Amazon’s donation to the Alliance for Education, which is an organization that works closely with Seattle Public Schools, will create what the company calls a new “Right Now Needs Fund” to meet the urgent needs of individual students. The Alliance will administer the grant, designed to cover the current 2018-19 and the following 2019-20 school years.

Amazon’s newest political rival, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders chimed in on the news. Sanders has been targeting the tech giant?over pay and conditions for the e-commerce company’s warehouse workers, and Amazon has called his statements “inaccurate and misleading.”?

Amazon’s?request for proposals?gives a deadline of Oct. 17, with a site selection and announcement slated for 2018. The ideal site, according to Amazon’s RFP, is less than 30 miles from a major population center, 45 minutes from a major airport, near several major roads and has immediate access to mass transit. Initially, Amazon is looking for at least 500,000 square feet of office space for the first phase in 2019, and could eventually take as much as 8 million square feet.

Among the 1,250 schools ranked, 17.7 percent are located in the United States, a slight decrease from 21 percent in 2017. The next most well-represented country on the list is China, where 136 universities made the list.
